ONE LAST RIDE

An independent film by PAUL /

As a giant disco-ball meteor hurtles toward Earth, the world descends into chaos. But an elderly retired racing driver decides to spend her last day fulfilling a lifelong dream: taking a souped-up shopping cart on a wild adventure through the apocalypse.

Along the way, she encounters her husband racing to catch up with her, a brown bear escaping the circus in search of freedom, children dreaming of saving the world, and an orange cat who remains unflappably calm.

Yet just as every living creature braces for the end, the meteor stops falling and transforms into an enormous disco ball, lighting up the entire planet.

The world hasn't ended after all. What has ended is the life that once held her back.

SUPER POT COMPANY

An independent film by PAUL /

On a rainy morning in a city park, a man wearing an aluminum pot on his head practices his morning exercises alone. He somehow manages to dodge every object that falls from the construction site above, and word of his “supernatural powers” quickly spreads. Burdened by the pressures and frustrations of everyday life, more and more people put on pots of their own and join him.

A nearby convenience store seizes the opportunity, mass-selling “superpower pots” and “secret morning-training manuals.” Riding the wave of collective obsession, it rapidly expands, goes public, and becomes an industry giant. As the absurd craze sweeps across society and everything descends into chaos, the man who started it all quietly removes his pot, picks up his white cane, and walks out of the park alone.
